In 2011 it was time to freshen up the New Era Aquaculture brand we’d created in 2005.
Whilst the original look and feel was innovative for the market and had provided the platform for New Era to become brand leader it had become clear that the competitiors they had left behind were now snapping at their heels and attempting to emulate their style and success.
A streamlined version of the logo, new product colour coding and a general sharpening up of the packaging and literature was performed. The challenge was to leave the established recognised and trusted elements of the New Era brand whilst moving it forward to keep one step ahead of the competition.
Due to the amount of new products introduced, the product packaging was the major task with over 50 original labels being redesigned.
The project has continued throughout 2012 with posters, advertisements, literature and POS material.
May 2012 saw New Era exhibiting at Interzoo – the world’s largest exhibition for pet suppliers. As well as New Era’s stand layout we created one of the largest single pieces of artwork we’ve ever done – the huge 8 x 3.5 metre backdrop required for the rear of the exhibit which, due to the logistics of the show, had to be produced on one sheet of fabric.
