Uncommon People is an ambitious project that aims to create a audio-visual history of the bands and music that have come out of Sheffield. We were excited to work on this project, particularly as nothing of its kind had ever been attempted before.

We produced a powerful 3D visualisation using Adobe’s Flash and Flex which lets you explore the connections between different bands and the people that made them.

Every area of the site allows contributions from users which will, in time, become a major part of the experience.

Uncommon People is constantly under active development and we’re working with Sensoria, the instigators of the project, to add new features all the time.
